Recent developments in legislation and disclosure of public information regarding sex offenders requires that we inform you of the potential threats. These developments have made us aware of our duty in providing you with sources of this information.

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Static's Act requires institutions of higher education to issue a statement advising the campus community where law enforcement agency information provided by a State concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained.

We want to make sure that every area of our campus community is safe. Our local law enforcement and HCC Security will be performing a site evaluation to identify areas of concern.

Please make sure that you take appropriate and reasonable precautions in keeping safe on our campus. Awareness workshops are provided during the academic year concerning this and other safety matters.
