The Forestry Club meets weekly and sponsors a woodsmen's team that attends three intercollegiate competitions each academic year.  The woodsmen's meets include academic quiz bowls, dendrology contests, and orienteering contests in addition to over 25 timber sports contests.  One of the major responsibilities of this club has been its annual role coordinating the "Forest Festival Day Intercollegiate Woodsmen's Meet" at the USFS Cradle of Forestry, which annually attracts over 2,000 spectators.
